The Board Ski Patrol at Indy Mountain works hard, but they make as many mistakes as they solve. Always needing new employees the Ski Patrol Office decides to give away free lift tickets to anyone willing to do the Trainee Program.
Chev Greenbrier, a nomad ski bum decides to join to get the free pass. But after helping save a little kid she decides to give the program a longer go.
Through trial and much trepidation Chev slowly learns the ways of this rag-tag Ski Patrol Team as she encounters entitled rich people, famous television pranksters, film-festival drama, avalanches, corporate takeovers, and government officials.
Karl the headstrong, competent, team leader keeps everyone in line. Chev’s new co-workers Lily and Brody try their hardest but constantly get distracted by the chaos of the Resort. Billie manages the Ski Patrol Office, while Charity holds down Lost & Found, with Pablo from the Ski School popping in every once and a while.
The Team become good friends as Chev learns from the mentorship of Karl, and the mistakes of everyone else.
